Riverside Pizza in Pennsylvania

"My Brooklyn born girlfriend is *very* picky about her pizza and we had to go through a lot of places to find our go to spot. Riverside is that. She is pretty basic and likes a solid cheese pizza well done but I’ve had their sandwiches too which are also good. Pizzas have a good crust, very good sauce, and a cheese level that is appropriate without making the entire endeavor soggy or greasy. They can have weird hours sometimes (lol, it just is what it is) but definitely keep this place in your top tier go to pizza joints. You won’t be disappointed."

"Great looking pizza. Sauce is liberally applied and carries a bright taste that is fairly sweet. Cheese is thick and a bit savory, well rounded mix. Under crust is medium thickness and rather chewy to the point where my jaw was getting tired after a couple slices. Perimeter crust has a great bake to it, providing a solid crunch. Overall a solid choice should you like a sweeter sauce. Price was a bit higher than average for the area."

"Go to restaurant of mine for lunch! As a hairstylist who works on main st I’m constantly looking for a quick bite to eat in between clients and 9 times out of 10 I find myself at riverside. Such a wide variety of options for any cravings I’m feeling and quality is there every time! The staff is so welcoming and I’m always greeted with a smile while walking up to the counter! Definitely a must for anyone looking for a quick bite while down on Main :)"

"Excellent pizza and wings! Best in the area in my opinion. After trying a handful of the pizza places in the area, I think this is the best. Meat lovers pizza (8/10): Loved the meat lovers pizza. The crust was crispy, the cheese was good and the sauce was great as well. I liked all the toppings which made me feel like I was getting my moneys worth. Nothing too special, but good pizza. On the expensive side for me, but average in the area. Wings (8/10): Great wings. Big wings at a good cost. Nowadays, I am getting these small baby wings and I hate them. These are quite big and tasted amazing. Great buffalo sauce and wings were juicy. Fries (9/10): Great fries. All the fries in this area are very similar."

"We were over my sisters house in Manyunk last night and she recommended ordering from Riverside Pizza. We ordered some pizzas, cheesesteaks and a Stromboli for delivery. The delivery was fast and all the items were hot. I ate some stomboli and pizza and both were excellent. The pizza was really good and I really liked their dough / crust. The stomboli was excellent. Good crusty outside and packed with toppings. I go for ham and mushroom bolis and they have one of the better ones I’ve eaten. This is a really good local pizza spot and I would 100% order from them again."
